Respect claim Labour vote is disintegrating

Yesterday we reported that UKIP are still are hopeful of victory in Hartlepool and today we bring you the more cautious claims of Respect, based on their weekend canvassing in the town.

Respect activists from the North of England were out in force canvassing in Hartlepool at the weekend as the campaign entered its penultimate week.

Canvassers reported a very favourable response on the doorstep to Respect and our candidate John Bloom.

What came over loud and clear was that the Labour vote appears to be disintegrating and that a large proportion of those canvassed are still undecided.

So everything is still to play for and much of our success will now depend on how many canvassers we can get out between now and 30th of September.
